This game didn't mean much for either team, thus a slugfest ensued....Brewers starting pitcher Mark Keenan, gave up just 7 hits through 5 innings, unfortunately 3 were home runs. Rob Latulippe started the slugging by hitting a solo shot in the top of the 1st inning. The Brewers bats exploded in the bottom of the inning off of Braves starter Darren Keating as Jason Krottner hit a triple and Dave Rivers hit an RBI single to tie the game. Then the Brewers got 6 more hits in the inning highlited by doubles from Jon Zywicki, Keith Blouin, Matt Beelen, and Mike Gazo. The inning finally ended with the Brewers up 6-1.

After Keenan got through the second inning with the help of a double play, the Brewers tacked one more run on when Rivers, Zywicki and Keenan all singled to start the bottome of the inning.  In came Ryan Hobbins to pitch and he was able to get out of the inning giving up just one run and making the score 7-1. From here, Hobbins silented the Brewers bats, as he gave up just 3 more hits for the rest of the game and no runs.

In the 3rd, the Braves scored twice when Latulippe hit an RBI single. There second run scored when Latulippe got caught in a rundown later in the inning. The Braves went out quietly in the 4th, but in the 5th the Braves flexed their home run muscle as Jonas Malcolm led off the inning with a home run to center. Then with 2 out and 1 runner on, Brian Samuel hit a huge bomb to left making the score 7-6.

In the 6th, they tied the game when Malcolm hit a fly ball to center that the center fielder lost in the sky with 2 out and a runner on second. In the 7th, Samuel was able to cash in the go-ahead run with an RBI groundout to finish the scoring. Hobbins easily got through the bottom of the inning to give the Braves an 8-7 win.
