Silverbacks at Brewers
McCarthy

boxscore

After a great showing in the Canadians tournament the weekend before, the Brewers just had no gas left for there game at the worst field on earth against the Silverbacks. With 2 spares in the line-up and first time starter Frank Macera pitching for the Brewers, it was a predictable result. Unfortunately I have no names for the Silverbacks lineup so therefore this will be short.

The Brewers led this game 3-1 after 4 innings thanks to RBI`s from Mike Gingerich, Jason Krottner, and Bill Beelen. In the 5th, the wheels fell off, as the Silverbacks scored 4 runs, only 1 earned off of Macera to take a 5-3 lead. After a sac fly by Gingerich to make the score 5-4, the Silverbacks blew it open in the 6th off of Brewer spare Jeremy Magnus as the Silverbacks hit 5 consecutive singles to score 5 runs and take a 10-4 lead.

The Brewers were able to get one run in the bottom of the 6th with a RBI by Jon Zywicki, but couldn`t score again as they lost 10-5.
