In yet another match up between these long time rivals, a pitching duel broke out for the first half, then the Brewers broke it open and cruised to a victory.  The Brewers struck for 2 runs in the first off of Braves starter, Sean Hogan.  Hogan got the first 2 batters out but then Geoff Magnus doubled, Jason Krottner singled him in, Keith Blouin singled, and Jon Zywicki singled in a run to make it 2-0.  Brewers starter cruised through the first 3 innings allowing only 3 baserunners and 0 runs.   Hogan then also cruised through the 2nd-3rd-4th allowing just 2 baserunners.  After Beelen got out of a 1st and 3rd with nobody out jam in the bottom of the 4th without giving up any runs, the Brewers broke the game open in the top of the 5th with 7 runs highlighted by a RBI single by Scott Tunis, double by Magnus, 3 RBI pinch hit double by Adam Oattes and then another 2 RBI single by Tunis.  Oattes then added another RBI double in the 6th to finish the scoring and Matt Beelen gave up 1 run in the 5th on a RBI single by Darren Keating.  The score would end at 10-1

Player of the Game : Jason Krottner - 3/4 with 3 runs scored, RBI, double, stolen base, walk.
