PA RBI AVG ONB SLUG Without Francis, we would not had the success that we had this year.  He did pitch in approximately half the games and he also kept us in the game.  We owe him all the success that we had for our first year in Tier 3.

PA RBI AVG ONB SLUG As the legendary Billy Ocean once sang in his 1988 smash hit, it’s time for y’all to get out of my dreams and get into my JEFF CARR! This guy is freakin’ offensive! And it has nothing to do with his tats! First in most offensive categories in the Tier, Carrsky is all over the leader boards like a bad rash (probably similar to the one he recently picked up while working a ‘ripper pole at his bachelor party).  Hitting rockets all over the field, this Carr drove our offense all year long. In addition to his big stick, he also solidified our infield by flashing his junk and displaying his rocket arm at SS. Simply put, his production was so valuable, it led the Rockets to the top of the standings. So when cruisin’ to choose the Tier MVP, you gotta take a ride in this Jeff Carr (that’s what she said!).

PA RBI AVG ONB SLUG Andrew' call me maybe ' Hierlihy was voted overwhelming the teams MVP. He was one of the few bright spots defensively on the team catching in over 80% of the games and holding the runners at bay with his strong arm. He lead the team with extra base hits and was second on the team with 18 RBIs. Andrew was the heart and soul of the team and a proven leader on and off the field.  If Andrew wins the tier's MVP award he will donate one hour of his gigolo services to any lucky female of Cory Bonds liking.

PA RBI AVG ONB SLUG Pluymer did it all for the Mavericks once again this year.  His success at the plate, on the mound and as a leader on the field makes him unanimous choice for the Mavericks’ 2012 MVP.  His contributions at the dish produced (8 runs and 7 RBI) 10% of the Mavericks’ total runs in only 35 plate appearances.  His batting average was above .500 the whole season and he was one of the few Mavs to notch both a HR and a SB this season.   The lefty’s 8 wins on the season tied for the Tier lead and 66% of the Mavericks victories.  Even more impressive, in 5 of his 12 starts Pluymer rung up 10+ hitters (13, 10, 11, 11 and 10 Ks) on his way to a league leading 109 Ks in 82 IPs.

PA RBI AVG ONB SLUG What can we say about Phil? Well, he is one of our top pitchers, one of our top hitters, one of our better base runners, he helps coach, runs the website, we can go on and on. Phil had a solid season on the mound going (3-1), recording (28) K's in (43) IP. He was definitely our workhorse this season once again on the mound. To go along with his solid Pitching stats, Phil was one of our better hitters all season, primarily hitting out of the number 2 spot. He compiled (21) HITS (good for a tie for 3rd on the team), (17) Runs (3rd) and (11) BB's (2nd). Phil also tallied (5) RBI's and (6) SB's and seemed to always make his way on base, posting an amazing (.478) OBP.  Phil was one of those hitters you couldn't pitch to, spraying the ball all over the field en route to a solid (.382) Batting Average. Phil would show some power to, hitting (2) Doubles and (1) Triple, giving him a (.455) Slugging Percentage. Another big part of Phil's game was the motto he kept us in line with, which was "Play Classy", which Phil lead the way with on the team, making it team first instead of himself. Phil chipped in to Coach when need be, pitched well, had one of his best seasons at the plate, started many positions making him one of the most versatile players on our team and played the game with passion and his heart on his sleeve all season, the way the game should be played. Congratulations to #8 Phil Martin for winning the MVP Award in 2012 for the Black Sox, and no question is a strong candidate to win the Tier 3 award.

PA RBI AVG ONB SLUG Ben hit .478, scored 26 runs, and led the team with 27 RBI, including a HR.  Just as importantly, he played every position on defence except pitcher and catcher - often several positions in the same game - helping solidify the league's third best defence.  Ben led by example throughout the season, always hustling, always producing. He was the complete package this season, and probably the single most important reason the Acadiens improved to a second place, 15-6-2 finish, this season from a sub-.500, 11-12-1, last year.

PA RBI AVG ONB SLUG This guy is downright scary. And he can mash too! Check out the size of this guys hits! Or simply scan the Tier leader boards -- you don’t have to look too far down from 1st. The numbers speak for themselves: 1st in Batting Average, 1st in Slugging %, 1st in OPS, 1st in Hits, 1st in Home Runs, 1stin Total Bases, 1st in arm sleeve tattoos, 2nd in RBIs and 3rd in ONB %. It was easily one of them most impressive offensive seasons in team history. Jeff Carr. Superstar. Or something like that.

PA RBI AVG ONB SLUG Joe ' OC' Winton won the teams best batter award even this being  his rookie season. He had a .385 batting average with 25 hits and a OPS of .921. Keep in mind that the Dukes are league wide known for having the toughest statistician, so Joe's numbers on any other team would have been doubled.

PA RBI AVG ONB SLUG Mr. Everything, Tek, BobbyChaps and “Superstar with a bunch of stars around his name” were all nicknames given to the Mavs’ captain this year.  His 20 hits, 17 BBs and 8 HPBs adds up to a .556 OBP. His ability to hit anywhere in the lineup and clutch hitting skill produced 25% (17 Rs + 13 RBIs) of the Mavs’ run production.  Rob made it his mission to get on base to start a rally or an important clutch hit with runners in scoring position which made him the easy choice for Mavs’ Best Hitter.

PA RBI AVG ONB SLUG This was Ryan's first season with the Black Sox and he had a great Rookie year, as not only being the Top Hitter on the Black Sox in 2012, he ended his season as one of Tier 3's best. Ryan set a Black Sox Single Season Record with his (26) HITS and tied the RBI mark with (28), which were also both good enough to lead the team in 2012. Rotating from the 3, 4 & 5 spot's in the Batting Order, Ryan was always a threat when he stepped up to the plate, hitting the gaps on many occasions and compiling (8) Doubles along the way. To go along with two (6) Game Hit Streaks, Ryan also collected at least 1 RBI in (15) of the 24 Black Sox games this season.  If he wasn't getting a hit, he was still coming up with positive at-bats for the club most of the time, compiling (4) Sac Fly's and (5) BB's respectively. Not only was he a feared hitter, he also ran the bases well enough to tie for 3rd on the team with (17) Runs. Ryan was relied on a lot this season by the Black Sox, stepping up to the plate (85) times. Ryan would end the regular season with a (.347) Batting Average, (.453) Slugging Percentage and a solid (.376) OBP. Congratulations to #29 Ryan Stewart for winning the Top Hitter Award in 2012 for the Black Sox and being a strong candidate to win the Tier 3 award.

PA RBI AVG ONB SLUG The jaw dropping numbers speak for themselves.  .543 BA; 1.000 SLG; 1.619 OPS.  For those of you who aren't stats nerds, those are Nintendo "Baseball Stars" numbers (some of you will be old enough to get that reference).  Over 40% of Graham's hits were for extra bases, including 3 HRs - one of which hit the top of the trees in left-centre field at the Sportsplex and killed a bird, probably.

IP SO W-L-S ERA WHIP Lights out are two words you could use to describe B-RAD. Both on the mound and at the bar! An NCBL stud for years, but a first year Rocket, we got more than we ever could have asked for from this ace. With one of the most impressive drinking/pitching seasons in Rockets history, Brad solidified our rotation by leading the team in almost every pitching category. He is all over the Tier leader boards including first in the most important category, an 8-0 undefeated W/L record. He is all over the Tier leader boards including first in the most important category, an 8-0 undefeated W/L record. Without his perfection, there is no way we finish first in our competitive Tier. He was just as impressive in the playoffs with a huge win and an epic 3-hitter performance in an CG 8 inning 0-0 tie. 9-0-1 overall record. Now we know why they call him P.D.G. (Pretty D*mn Good!). Vote for BRAD ‘cause he’s pretty RAD!

IP SO W-L-S ERA WHIP Steve ' The Polish Prince' Rumleski was once again for the 3rd straight year the Dukes Best Pitcher.  He pitched over 58 innings in 12 games and allowed only 12 walks while striking out 36 batters. He was the work horse of the team and commanded the strike zone to a tee. Even though the Dukes had the worst defense in the Tier he kept the team alive in many low scoring ball games.

IP SO W-L-S ERA WHIP Untouchable at times but intense all the time, Jeremy Pluym was a beast on the mound.  His arsenal combines a moving fastball, a curveball which he can throw for strikes at varying speed and a change-up.   Perhaps the best weapon on the bump is his devastating pick-off which always keeps runner close to 1stbase and more often than not results in at least 1 pick-off per game.

IP SO W-L-S ERA WHIP Entering his 3rd season with the Black Sox after a 1 year hiatus, Dave didn't seem to miss a step. Dave led the Black Sox with a (4-1) Record, pitching dominantly in all of his starts. The speed and elusiveness of Dave's Pitches fooled batters all season long, compiling (29) K's in just (30.67) IP, good enough for nearly a strikeout per inning. He seemed to get better as the games went along, and every inning he seemed to get stronger. When the game was on the line, the Black Sox wouldn't want any one other than Mr. Ledrew on the mound. Dave hardly ever walked a batter and did not let up many hits to lead the TIER with his (0.95) WHIP, as he would go after every hitter he faced, never fearing any of his opponents.
