PA RBI AVG ONB SLUG Hit .485 with 2HR and 18RBI. Also stole 12 bases and played solid defesne all year. In every facet of the game he was the team's leader both in ability and captaincy. Was a mainstay defensively at the hardest position, giving us solid plays up the middle all year long. Not only was he an outstanding hitter, he was a defensive wiz, base stealing master, and team leader. Not just a one trick pony, he was truly able to help out all over the field and in any situation.

PA RBI AVG ONB SLUG The 2009, 2010, and 2013 Tier 1 MVP had yet another monster season for the Brewers.  Offensively, Adam led the Brewers in pretty much every category while adding power to his game in leading the league in Home Runs with 6 big flies. Meanwhile, on the mound he led the Brewers in IP and notched 3 Wins and 2 saves.

PA RBI AVG ONB SLUG  In a year in which seemingly the A's roster was riddled with inconsistent play, Jordan Havekes was our most consistent player. Throughout the course of the season, he gave our team a chance to win each and every time he stepped on the mound. Well, okay, except for that one time where Jose Canseco spotted the Battalion a seven run lead in less than two innings of work and Jordan was pressed into mop up duties, but you get the gist of the idea.

IP SO W-L-S ERA WHIP Geoff once again had a dominant year on the mound for the Brewers.  When the Brewers needed an arm, Mags was always ready to go.  His season was highlighted by a 1 hit shutout in Kingston against the 1st place Ponies.  He was also part of a combined no-hitter to open the season.

IP SO W-L-S ERA WHIP Bobby was clearly our workhorse this year. Showed he was the ace of our staff and a fiery competitor. Accumulating more IP than the previous 2 seasons combined, he took the ball and ran with it. Despite the record, for which our lack of run support is to blame, Bobby remains to be one of the best and feared pitchers in the NCBL.

Mike's stellar reg season continued into the playoffs going 4-0 with a 0.26 ERA in 27 innings pitched & 3 complete games including the championship final.

PA RBI AVG ONB SLUG In his first Brewer season, Marcel became one of the Brewers most reliable bat, fielder and pitcher.  While being moved from position to position and dealing with last minute pitching requests, Marcel never complained and a was a model teammate.

PA RBI AVG ONB SLUG In his first year as an everyday contributor, Chad had a fantastic season. Despite having to fill some big shoes with the departure of Steve Renaud (Battalion), Chad stepped up to the challenge and delivered . Having never complained about playing time over the last couple years, and his overall commitment and leading the team in batting average, makes him a great teammate. This nomination is long overdue.

PA RBI AVG ONB SLUG Felix is a beloved teammate on the A's and you won't find a more personable and engaging player on the field. Although he started the season off slowly at the plate, you wouldn't have known it by the way he carried himself on and off the field. By midseason, Felix found his stride and started tearing the cover off the ball, providing some extra base power and a clutch walk off double that eliminated the Brewers in the first round of the playoffs.

PA RBI AVG ONB SLUG Gonzo quickly established himself as a key member of the Panthers by solidifying the left side of the infield with stellar defense at 3rd base. He brought much needed speed and energy to the squad highlighted by his 20 runs scored & 8 SB's. Saved his best for the playoffs when he hit a 2 out game winning grand slam in the 6th inning of game 3 of the quarter finals.

2014 Team Record         The three-headed monster of Chad, Angus and Dustin deftly handled the responsibilities of managing a team that was the by-product of a merger between the Kanata Selects and the Ottawa Athletics. It's not easy trying to manage a roster at the beginning of a season when: a) the players don't really know one another very well; b) roles are uncertain; c) everyone wants to play; and d) has to handle having a former American League MVP want to pitch and play third base. To their credit, not only did the team really come together and bond, but if you include the results from the playoffs and the Nepean Brewers tournament, this was a team that finished over .500 in its first year together. And even though the Athletics also lost the one game that Jose Canseco played, the ability to bring him into the fold created one of the largest NCBL crowds ever.
