PA RBI AVG ONB SLUG Great pitching, great hitting, both for average and for power … No I’m not talking about Babe Ruth. But this season Alexandre Goyette was the Babe Ruth of our team and one of the best in the NCBL. He is one of the biggest reason why we win our first NCBL pennant. He was our best pitcher this season and one of the most dangerous hitter in the league. 2nd in the league for average, 4th in slugging and ONB, 7th for hits and I could continue like that if I'd want. On the pitching side he is 3rd for strikeouts and 2nd for wins … I think Alexandre Goyette rhymes with MVP this year.

PA RBI AVG ONB SLUG Alex « Vivi » Villeneuve was our best hitter this year, and has been one of the the best in the league in tier 2. He was a leadoff for us all year, and really did a great job. He was always on base, was running so fast, and had the delay steal, his speciality. He always find a way to start the game properly and does not stay there for a long time. He is one of the top players in a lot of categories on the leaderboard, and deserves this award.

IP SO W-L-S ERA WHIP Goyette only gave us good starts this season. Everytime he was on the pitching mound, regardless the team on the other side and the pitcher for the other team, you feel like you have a chance to win that game. 2nd for win, 3rd for strikeouts and 5th for ERA, wihtout him Marc Sports would never have had win the tier 2 regular season title. He was like a ghost : the batters could see him but they were not able to hit him.

PA RBI AVG ONB SLUG Mike Janes has been a strong player for the Cardinals every year for the past 7 seasons. He is soft spoken and mild mannered, never getting into conflict with umpires or players from other teams. His play at shortstop and centerfield along with his offense at the top of the Cardinals line up qualify Mike as one of the league's good players and great guys.

PA RBI AVG ONB SLUG Dave is a prime example of sportsmanship and ability. Despite being moved all over the batting order, he never complained and was always supportive of all of his teammates. Dave was also the team's second baseman providing solid defense and contributing at the plate with a .279 average over 45 PA

PA RBI AVG ONB SLUG Ced was like the funny uncle on our team. He was always there to pick up the guys, and was a really good addition for our team this season. He was new on our team, but it did not look like that. He was always supporting our guys, and was good and kind with the other team's players.

PA RBI AVG ONB SLUG Ross has always been a team first guy who loves to play baseball, but he's never really shown the ability - until this year where he hit a career best .321 while holding his own at SS. As always, he was willing & able to do literally "anything" to help the team win both on and off the field, regardless of how it would look on his permanent record. He is the best example of what it means to be a SweatSox, and/or a Goat.
