RONA 2016 Tier 3 Performance of the Week

Week 19, September 12 to Sept 18 >  Jay Murfitt (Sharks) >  In the deciding game 5 of the Championship Series, Jay led the way with 7 RBI while going 3 for 4, with a double, home run and 2 runs scored as they won the game 9-3 and championship!

Week 18, September 5 to Sept 11 >  Jeff Pyne  (Sharks)  In a wild 10 inning game, that finished in a 5-5 deadlock, Jeff threw 7 innings, struck out 9, giving up just 3 hits and 1 earned run.

Week 17, August 29 to Sept 4 >  No submissions

Week 16, August 22 to August 28 >  Jeff Pyne  (Sharks) > In their series clinching game, Jeff threw a complete game shutout, striking out 6 while also going 1 for 4 with an RBI at the plate.    

Week 15, August 15 to August 21 >  Jon Smith (Red Sox)  > In a must win game 2, down 1-0 in the series, Jon threw a complete game for the win while striking out 15 Shark batters.

Week 14, August 8 to August 14 >  Scott Kiser (Lumberjacks)  > On August 11th, Scott went 3 for 4, with a double, 3 RBI and 2 runs scored.

Week 13, August 1 to August 7 >  Pat Hurtubise (Big Rig Capitals)  > On August 1st,  In another must-win game, Pat went 2 for 4 with 4 RBI and pitched a complete game, giving up one earned run to get the win.

Week 12, July 25 to July 31 >  Devin Kraayenhof (Big Rig Capitals)  > On July 28th, Devin went 3 for 4, with a double, and 5 RBI to help the Capitals win a must-win game.

Week 11, July 18 to July 24 >  Tyas Montgomery (Lumberjacks)  > On July 24th, Tyas threw a complete game, 1 hitter, while also going 3 for 4 at the plate with 4 RBI.

Week 10, July 11 to July 17 >  Phil St-Martin (Red Sox)  > On July 15th, Phil  went deep to right-center to hit a game-tying homer in the bottom of the 6th of an eventual 6-6 tie.

Week 9, July 4 to July 10 >  Phil Martin (Black Sox) > On July 7th, For his 2nd POW, Phil pitched a complete game shutout against the Dukes with 4 K's, en route to a 10-0 win. He also went 2-3 with a run scored and 2 stolen bases.

Week 8, June 27 to July 3 >  Steve Rumleskie (Dukes)  > On June 28th, facing the 1st place Lumberjacks, Steve threw a complete game, giving up just 2 ER, with no walks and 5 K’s plus went 3 for 4 at the plate with an RBI and run scored in a 7-3 victory.

Week 7, June 20 to June 26 >  Stef Leclair (Dukes)  > On June 24th, Stef went 5 for 5, with a walk, 7 RBI, double, triple, 2 runs, and a stolen base in a 20-19 win!

Week 6, June 13 to June 19 >  Joel Sanscartier (Lumberjacks)  > On June14th, Joel had a perfect night at the plate in his teams 8-0 win going 2 for 2, with a double, 2 walks, 3 runs scored, 2 RBI and 2 SB.

Week 5, June 6 to June 12 > Mackenzie Lewis (Black Sox)  > On June 7th, Mackenzie went 4 for 5 with a double, triple, 2 RBI and 3 runs scored.

Week 4, May 30 to June 5 > Adam Pelchat (Big Rig Capitals) – On May 30th, Adam pitched a complete game, giving up 3 un-earned runs, 4 hits and 1 walk while also hitting a home run in the Capitals 6-3 win.

Week 3, May 23 to 29 > Dave Rivers (Dukes) – On May 29th, hitting clean-up for the first time in his storied career, went 2 for 3, with 5 RBI, a double and a sac fly in an 8-1 win.

Week 2, May 16 to 22 > Phil Martin (Black Sox) – On May 17th, after falling behind 8-3 in the 2nd inning, Phil pitched his team out of a bases loaded jam, and then threw 4.66 innings in relief with 8 K's to secure a 10-9 win. In addition, Phil went 3-3 with 4 RBI's!!

Week 1, May 9 to 15 > Mark Bustard (Mavericks) – On May 14th, Mark went 3/4 with 4 RBI highlited by a bases loaded double clearing the bases in the Mavericks 10-5 win.
