Brewers 6 Volants 3

In the first ever game between these two teams, pitching dominated. Mike Gazo, starting for the Brewers, gave up a two run homer in the first inning and a double and single in the third to give up a run, but other than those three runs, the Volants scattered 5 hits and could not score again. They got one hit in each of the 5 innings they didn't score, but could not get any of those runners past third base. Meanwhile, the Brewers capitalized on Volants' errors getting 6 runs, only two earned. Jon Zywicki and Keith Blouin each had 2 RBI singles in the third inning but other than that, clutch hitting was hard to come by. The Brewers scored two in the bottom of the sixth for some insurance, getting runs on wild pitches, bunts, and an error.
