Raiders 12 Coyotes 2

        Over at Southgate on Monday night, the Coyotes hosted the Raiders in a
game that got very interesting at the end.  The game was all Raiders as
they hit very well and scored a few runs in every inning while the
Coyotes struggled to get clutch hitting and stranded 7 runners in 5
innings.  The Raiders put together a 13-2 lead heading into the bottom
of the 6th.  Then the Coyotes offense came to life and the first 7
batters reached base with 6 hits and 1 walk.  The Coyotes kept going and
after the 10th batter, they had 8 runs in, 1 out, and 1 on.  Trailing
13-10 now, and with the game shifting their way......the Coyotes fell
victim to possibly the worst fate in the game.  THE LIGHTS WENT OUT.
So, sadly, the final score was Raiders 12 Coyotes 2, but given some more
time, the result could have been very different.  I would like to thank
the Raiders for a good game and I look forward to our rainout makeup
game coming up.
