This game started off with a bang, as a triple play bailed Brewers starter Mike Gingerich out of trouble in the top of the first. Jeff Dawson and Al Kohli had both reached base to lead off the game and then Jordan Latimer worked the count to 3-2. With both runners on the move with the next pitch, Latimer lined the ball to shortstop, which turned into an easy triple play. The Brewers took this momentum into the bottom of the inning off of Panther starter Mark Sarsen. With 2 out and 2 base runners, Sean Lecuyer went deep with a 3 run homer to open the scoring.

The Panthers struck right back in the second inning with two runs as the Brewers made 2 errors, walked a batter and Steve Smith hit a double. After 3 complete innings, the score remained 3-2. In the bottom of the 4th, the Brewers looked to extend their lead as Joe Beelen singled, Shawn Painter singled and then Hank Beelen reached on a bunt single to load the bases. Jon Zywicki then hit a fly ball to left field to score Joe Beelen as Al Kohli`s throw hit him in the head.

Then in the 5th, after Gingerich narrowly escaped the top of the inning with no damage, Lecuyer once again went deep to left for his second home run of the game to make the score 6-2. Neither team did much offensively after this and the game ended with the Brewers up 6-2.

Player of the Game: Sean Lecuyer...2/3..2 home runs, 5 RBI.
